In addition the Global Hub has its own advisory group consisting of a membership which includes gender specialists from international aid agencies, researchers and activists in global civil society, and representatives of the Consortium and of the principle funder, DFID. The role of the Advisory Group is to offer advice on approaches and methods, remedial actions, collaborative work and periodic independent reviews as required.

The hub will be working with feminist activists in development organisations to seek to address the guiding question of how global policy and international practice can betters respond to the challenge to securing and sustaining tangible improvements in women's lives.
